When we arrived late at night, we were put into a single room with a double bed. The hotel agreed to change it the following day and were most helpful with the transfer.

You get a room, not much more.

The room was clean, our two-bedroom unit had one bathroom with a separate shower room, which was helpful when you're sharing. there was no common space to sit and talk. The room felt like being in a college dorm. The location was good, being walkable to the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront tourist area. The staff was friendly and accommodating when I needed to print my airline boarding passes.

The hotel is part of a college campus, we weren't expecting to be in a dorm-like setting. There was no common space in our two-bedroom unit, however, one could just hang out by the elevators.

It was fine, but not worth the cost.

Location was excellent. Access to the dining room and room service was appreciated. Helpful staff. Clean water refills in reusable bottles was very much appreciated. Room was clean. Front of house help for arranging tours was great. Internet worked, mostly. My family and I felt safe.

One bed vibrated, maybe from a vent under the floor? Room felt simple, almost like a dorm room. Certainly not appropriate for the price paid. We had to have the keys reset multiple times as they stopped working almost daily. Masseuse at the spa was inexperienced. As part of room cleaning, they sprayed something smelly that got into all our clothes.

Excellent location

Fantastic location, walking distance from all major Cape Town Waterfront attractions. Very good breakfast, best omlette I have ever eaten. Nice view of the Table Mountain (weather permitting)

Rooms are not very spacious. Bathroom with non-transparent glass walls may allure some but I would prefer more privacy.

Staff always nice an willing to help.

The room was way too small. The shower is very messy. The bathroom basin is too small. The room service delivery guy is not welcoming and friendly.

Location was great, very close to V&A waterfront. Breakfast in the hotel is recommended.

There are quite a few steps down to the waterfront which was a challenge for us with a pushchair, and would also be for those less mobile.

The location of the hotel was very convenient for us,it was near waterfront malll as well as the capetown marathon stadium since we went for the marathon too..The internet was superb as well as the breakfast.

Great location, staff, and restaurant!

Our visit was so quick that the only dining option we had was the hotel restaurant for dinner and breakfast the following morning. Both meals were very good as was the restaurant service. Also, I had to receive a special delivery item (an art piece to take home) and the hotel received on my behalf until we checked in. Hotel is in a prime location for dining and shopping but our delayed flight limited these options. :-(

For my mother and me I booked a room with two separate bedrooms, which were fine but there was no common area! Buyer beware! I assumed for the price of the room a common area would be a feature, but not the case. We stayed only one night so not a big deal, just a surprise. The hallways are very narrow and to pass by the maid's cart with a suitcase was actually challenging!

Good spot for short stay

It was a good stay for a solo traveler, in CT for work (conference), for one night. Bed and linen was very lux. Check in and check out staff was very friendly and helpful. Did not stay for breakfast, so cannot comment.

Have stayed in better places, for less. No charm - if you’re a tourist, there are better spots, this is very much corporate hotel chain vibes. Door was not completely sealed - light and noise came through the door. Was very awkward when you shower, which is right by the door and there were people working/painting in the hall outside, could hear them.
